Sewing the Very Easy Vogue 9367. This is an oversized, unlined jacket pattern with double-breasted button closure. This design also features dropped shoulders with a slider belt.
The pattern has 3 length variations. I've sewn View C the longest length, for reference I'm 5'2".
The fabric for this project is a Gabardine from Austin Creative Reuse in Austin, Texas. It's a really cute store that offers salvaged art supplies. The gunmetal hardware I found online.
For the bias bound seams I used pre-packaged Wrights bias tape. And then the garment tag by Kylie and the Machine 'You can't buy this' was an Etsy find.
Other tools I used during sewing:
-Point turner by Clover
great for pushing out sharp collar points
-Fray Check
I use this every time I finish stitching my button holes it creates the cleanest finish. I also ended up using fray check on the outer 1/4in edge of my seams because the fabric was really starting to fray and unravel.
