Over the years, an astonishing number of pictures of Gorewood canoes have accumulated in my photo archive. Some of these canoes were built exactly according to my plans, while others are interesting variations on the original design. I congratulate all those who were successful in building their canoes and sympathize with all those who, like me once, failed in the attempt.
The Gorewood canoes shown here come from the following countries:
Belarus, Australia, Hungary, Thailand, England, Canada, Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Korea, Brazil, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Russia, Croatia, Norway, and Vorarlberg😉.
Maybe your canoe is among them.
Most of the canoes are made of plywood, a few are made of 10 mm PP honeycomb panels, and one is made of 5052 14ga aluminum sheets.
