Rescue efforts intensified with the involvement of deep-sea divers alongside NDRF, SDRF, and Army teams. The operation faces significant challenges due to the mine's 200-foot depth and insufficient equipment to quickly drain the water. Authorities have confirmed the mine's illegal status, and one individual has been arrested in connection with the case. The trapped miners hail from Assam, Nepal, and West Bengal.
