"I see it. You've been carrying something."

Maybe you've been there so long you've stopped calling it running. You've stopped calling it anything. You just call it Tuesday.

But tonight, someone needs to tell you what God told Moses: I see it. Not in some distant way. Not in theory. I see the weight. I see what it's cost you. And I want to sit with you in that for a while, because there's a story about a man named Gideon who had to learn what happens when God strips everything away — not to punish you, but to show you that you were never supposed to carry that much in the first place.

This isn't a pep talk. This isn't meant to fix you tonight. This is what happens when one tired person sits in the dark with another and says: you are seen. You made it through today. That counts.

Rest now. I'll be here when you wake.
