Описание: The construction of a controversial sh4 billion project located in land alleged to be part of the Ngong forest has been stopped. The national environment management authority has ordered the jockey club of Kenya to stop the construction of the project pending conclusion of investigations on the encroachment that it says will adversely affect the forest ecosystem. But as Willis Raburu reports, the environment cabinet secretary Judy Wakhungu says her ministry is investigating the project even as the developer claims to have secured the relevant approvals, including those from NEMA itself and the ministry of lands.
