DIY Mermaid Seashell Hair Clip

I’m embracing the beach vibes and transforming an ordinary seashell into a summer hair accessory fit for a mermaid.
This fun hair piece will bring the fun of the summer time beach with you where ever you go.

For this DIY you’ll need a pretty seashell from your local craft store, or you know, the beach. Some gems, I used flat-backed metallic ones in fun shapes. Glue or other form of adhesive, I used both E6000 and hot glue in this craft. Lastly, you’ll need the hair fastener. For this you can use a comb, pick, barrette, or bobby pin, which is what I used. I find that bobby pins are easiest to tuck invisibly into a hair style so the seashell is the only part you see. But the choice is yours, use whatever you like to use to fasten your hair with. I bet it’d even work on a rubber band or scrunchie.
