In this episode, we are honored to host Dr. Subrat Kumar Prusty, a distinguished Odia-language scholar, activist, social entrepreneur, literary critic, and author. As the Member Secretary of the Institute of Odia Studies and Research, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Prusty has played a pivotal role in advocating for Classical Language status for Odia, the formation of the Central Institute of Classical Odia and Odia University, and the implementation of the Odisha Official Language Act, 1954.

A recipient of the Presidential Certificate of Honour and Maharshi Badrayan Vyas Samman (2019) for Classical Odia, Dr. Prusty has been a driving force in preserving and promoting the Odia language and heritage.
