Altered Alma – Demo Bosses (No Damage)
Another promising game on the horizon. Really enjoyed how smooth the movement/combat felt (I'm also a sucker for a good parry lol). Love that each enemy has their own execution animation. I'm sure that's a lot of extra work, but it's so damn cool and immersive. Aesthetics and music were also solid.
The only thing I noticed that I personally didn't like, was that when you are moving horizontally in-air and attack upwards, your horizontal movement slows. It doesn't do that when you attack horizontally in-air (which personally feels much more fluid). That was honestly my only nitpick from the whole demo.
As a parry enthusiast, I hope some of the later bosses do not get stance-broken from a single parry. I think it would feel a bit too easy, but also there is nothing more satisfying than parrying a full combo.
Really like what I see so far. The wishlist is growing!
