In a first, Britain's Royal Family has approved a drill guarded by French troops at the Buckingham Palace. This event is being organised to commemorate the 120th anniversary of improved Anglo-French ties. On this day in 1904, the Entente Cordiale was signed by the United Kingdom and the French Republic. This helped settle some controversial matters, and helped improve the biletral ties between the two European countries. Today, at the changing guard ceremony in London, French troops are hence joining British troops to mark the coveted occasion.
