This concept that I have created comes from the combination of two words : Vida ( "life" ) and alchemy ( the medieval speculative science and philosophy whose main objective was to transform common metals into gold and produce the elixir of immortality ) .

A valkemist is the person who learns the art of recasting a banal life into a golden existence , the person who fully appropriates his or her reality and undertakes massive actions to intentionally create the one he or she dreams of .
