Описание: Video 8 in the Phenomenology of Creativity Series - Human Physiology, and how it affects our creativity. Our external circumstances affect our body and its productivity, including the amount of light (circadian rhythm, and brain wave states), danger (focus, and sympathetic or parasympathetic nervous system) and immediate needs (brain hemisphere, and Maslow's Hierarchy of needs). If the external world is prioritizing our attention, our creativity will tend to service our problem solving - safety and survival, such as weapons, tools, bridges, transport - engineering, math, health. If we are safe enough and have enough basic needs met, we can move our attention internally, and can prioritize the imagination - create beauty, culture and arts - focus on growth rather than survival. In both these states of being, we are creative, but in different ways, generally associated with left (analysis and problem solving) or right (beauty and imagination) hemisphere.
