Quilboar Are BACK?! Timewarped Bristler Obliterates the Lobby | Hearthstone Battlegrounds

Blizzard just rolled out a major balance patch, shaking up the entire Hearthstone Battlegrounds meta. Several dominant tribes were toned down, while the weakest ones received long-overdue buffs - and no tribe benefited more than Quilboar. Once considered the worst option in the game, Quilboar received a series of meaningful adjustments that completely changed how they function, especially their Timewarped units.
This was my very first game on the new patch, and I decided to immediately put the reworked Quilboar to the test. The standout change is the redesigned Timewarped Geomancer, which went from a filler minion to a genuinely powerful engine. Combined with Timewarped Piper, Gemsplitter, Geomagus Roogug, and the classic Monstrous Macaw + Titus Rivendare combo, everything came together into an absurdly strong Timewarped Bristler build.
The scaling was explosive, the combat sequencing was perfect, and the end result was complete domination. Even a high-rolling opponent with a massive Timewarped Behemoth couldn’t survive the pressure. This Quilboar board simply tore through the lobby with ease.
While a single game isn’t enough to declare Quilboar fully back on top, this match is a very strong signal that the tribe is finally competitive again - and potentially dangerous in the right hands. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to revisit Quilboar, this patch might be it.
