🎬 A Mountain Fire & 5 Years of Adventures | Georgia Hammock Camp

Описание: One more quiet night in the mountains before heading home.
On my way north from Florida, I found a secluded ridge-top pull-off in Georgia — the perfect place to slow down, build a fire, cook a steak, and reflect on the journey so far.
This camp wasn’t about pushing limits or hiding in plain sight — it was about taking a breath. After cleaning up trash left behind and setting things right, I rebuilt an old fire ring, hung the hammock between two trees overlooking the valley, and finally put my backpacking fire pit to use. A Florida ribeye over lump charcoal, a growing campfire, and a mountain view made for the kind of night that reminds you why you started doing this in the first place.
As the fire burned, I reflected on the road trip that began back in January — Kentucky, Alabama, weeks in Florida, and even down into the Everglades. But the thoughts went deeper than miles traveled. With March approaching, I talked about what this month means to me and this channel — milestones, challenges, and how far Random Adventures 2.0 has come since March 21, 2021.
From surviving a major stroke in March of 2022…
To standing in the Arizona desert filming one year later…
To now approaching the 5-year anniversary of this channel.
This journey started so my grandkids would know who I was. Somewhere along the way, thousands of you decided to come along — whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just found the channel today. That’s something I’ll never take lightly.
I don’t know where the next adventure will be. I’m heading home to Pennsylvania… but it’s random. Maybe we stop along the way. Maybe we don’t. Either way, I hope you’ll keep joining me every Thursday night to see where the next Random Adventure takes place.
