Residency is a journey like no other. On one hand its training you to be a specialist in the field of your dreams, on the other hand its completely uncharted waters and you have no idea how to manage the overwhelming workload while still staying true to your own personal dreams outside residency.
Over the last 5 years as a surgical resident, this was my story as well. I was determined to come out of the other side with my heath and sanity intact, and this video is just a compilation of the guidelines I used that helped me get through residency without feeling like it stole years from my life.
