Rigid heddle looms are perfect for direct warping, using a warping peg. I start this video with the first step done, using the warping peg. You can find lots of videos for that step, where you pull 2 strands of warp yarn through each slot in the rigid heddle.
Here I show the second step, moving 1 strand from each slot into the hole.
