Patna Metro's First Phase Inaugurated by Nitish Kumar
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has officially inaugurated the first phase of the Patna Metro Rail Project, marking a major milestone in the city’s urban transport development.
The priority corridor, a 3.45-km-long elevated stretch, covers three key stations: Patliputra Bus Terminal, Zero Mile, and Bhoothnath. The metro will operate daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, aiming to reduce traffic congestion and improve connectivity across Patna.
The total cost of the project stands at ₹13,925.5 crore, and this launch marks just the beginning of a broader network planned for the capital city.
