Today I introduce my e-book "Urdu Script Primer for Non-Hindi Speakers", available on Amazon as an e-book (see links at bottom). You do not have to get this book in order to learn from this series, but- much more than my Devanagari/Hindi series-- I highly recommend getting this book. I created the book that I wish I had had when I was learning Urdu script. In fact, I was introduced to India through Urdu and not Hindi- so I learned the pronunciation through Urdu as well, which basically perfectly prepared me for Hindi as well. The book is full of pictures and diagrams detailing exactly how to make the characters.
This series will teach you how to read and write in Urdu script, as well as a basic introduction to the Urdu language.
