Thought I had uploaded this video but guess not. This was from my early summer camping trip. At the tail end of the trip, we stopped in Page, AZ and went kayaking on Lake Powell to the Lower Antelope Canyon.
We rented the wonderful paddle kayaks from https://PaddleLakePowell.com. Wonderful because you can use your feet to just "paddle". Its more like leisurely cruising on a bicycle. They are located in the Antelope Point Marina.
The trip into the canyon took about 30-40 minutes depending on how much you stop to take pictures! At the end of the paddle, there's a beach landing area where you can stop to rest and/or continue on a hike into the Lower Antelope Canyon. There's no limit on how deep you can hike, but we do have to return the kayak before sun down. Most people turn around when you get to the split in the hiking trail, which we did as well.
Very beautiful colors and unique experience. The entire kayak+hike takes about 5 hrs including all the time to take picture and have lunch/snacks. #KayakLakePowell #KayakAntelopeCanyon #PaddleLakePowell
