But when you step back and look closely, the system starts to look different. Most people spend the majority of their waking hours selling their time just to afford basic survival. Debt, bills, and social expectations keep people locked into a routine they never consciously chose. This isn’t about refusing to work, humans have always worked, but about questioning a system where your time, energy, and freedom are constantly traded away. The real question is whether the 9–5 is truly freedom, or just a more comfortable version of control.
