Welcome to the first session of our comprehensive Psychology Lecture Series. In this opening lecture, we go back to the very beginning—the roots of the word "Psychology" and how humanity first tried to define the "self."
We start with the Greek myth of Psyche and Cupid, exploring how a story of love and immortality gave us the term "Psyche." We then bridge this with profound Indian perspectives, using metaphors like the Chariot of the Self and the Bird on the Tree to understand the complex relationship between the body, mind, and soul.
Hope you guys forgive me if there are any mistakes. I will make sure to do much better than what I have done in this video.
Enjoy, Shorya Jadon.
