The pessimist philosophy of Rust Cohle from True detective, Season 1. Arthur Schopenhauer and his book, studies in pessimism is my first recommendation if you're interested in delving into this topic beyond this video. It's a super quick read and can be quite funny at times, oddly enough. Keep in mind that it has some very offensive material in it tho, and I don't mean that in a philosophical sense. It cointains a whole chapter called "of women", wich i'm sure you can guess the contents of. But hey, you're delving into the phyche of this man and all his edges, and Schopenhauer had more edges than most, so you should know what you're getting into.
