Australian Lock Co. Bilock Picked and Gutted

We're here today with a Bilock! This is ranked as a Black Belt 2 on the LPU website. It has two rows of 6 pins, each row has its own sidebar with 'teeth'. The pins behave very much like a sprung slider and the engagement with the sidebar teeth is like a medeco cam. The lock isolates well (that means you can pick one side and then the other) like a 3KS and ICS will. One thing you need to be mindful of is applying tension on the nose. You'll see at the end of the pick I swap tension sides. You need to be careful applying tension in the way I did because the nose will break easily.

I've had this lock for about 24 hours. I think I unboxed it the day before right around the time I got the open. So maybe a few hours tops.

It was a lot of fun, and very talkative. The feedback was easy to understand. Pay attention to how I do my "clicky"/"wiggle" test. I scrub the pick in and out on the tip of the keypin to feel its state. If its mushy or stiff, its not in a true gate and needs to be moved. If it's clicky and doesn't move much vertically then it's in a true gate. If it moves a lot its not binding and should be left alone.
