Learn how to use your voice to create a simple but powerful; chanting meditation. Today we are intoning all five vowel sounds.
Using the voice in this way is a simple but powerful meditation and can help bring a sense of calm. As we are beings of energy, vibration and frequency, intoning our own voices gently vibrates all the cells from the inside out. This can raise our frequency and bring about change. Just five minutes a day practicing these sounds can change the mindset and improve well being. It also helps us to be here now, in the present, rather than stuck in our heads going over the past or worrying about the future.
Points to remember:
Make sure you're sitting or standing comfortably, with an erect posture supported by the core muscles 🧍♀️🧎. Try and relax the body around the erect spine.
Imagine a column of sound behind or inside where the sound already is.
Transfer your awareness to active listening - no judgement
Drive the sound from the core not the neck/throat
Imagine you are inhaling or sucking in the sound
Extend the out breath making the sound to the very end of the breath - you may be surprised that there is a bit more breath there than you think.
