Finding Copper Nuggets And Plates in Michigan Mines With Datolite

Описание: Finding large Copper Plates and Copper Nuggets in Old Copper Mines of Upper Michigan the weather was High 80s In the copper mine Tailing Piles but I stuck it out and found more than a dozen Nice Pieces of Native Copper I also found a Small Hand full of Datolite in small balls of about half inch up to a Quarter in size the temperature reach up to 87 degrees the week of the Fourth of July what away to start the summer with some nice float Copper and some nice Plates of Copper Specimen the color of the copper was Teal Green and a lot of Pieces were very Solid with very little Basalt Holst rock the road to copper Harbor was nice and the Great lake Superior was very Calm today if it was not so Hot I would have done some agate hunting My metal detecting was on target to day I still had to get Past all the Small pieces of copper there was 100s of them so digging the hot rocks to find Copper Nuggets with the Metal detector was Hard on the Copper Hunting But in the end I dug the Hard ground and fi;;ed all the holes to no end the heat won in the end I just could not do any more so I when to the Delaware Mine only to find out it was cover by weeds so I took some pictures and was Happy with the Cooper and Datolite Gems I found on the Fourth of July I hope the Datolite is Peach color there is some Peach Colored Datolite found at the Clark Mine from time to time any Colored Datolite will be fine with Me because most of this Gem is White so I will take some nice Colored Gem will not Know Until I use My Lapidary Diamond Saw the Thine Diamond saws work the Best then you will have to Polish the gems and do they hold a Polish better then Jade at least I thinks so so get out there and Find some copper and Many you will get lucky and find the rare Datolite Gem Good Luck Big Tim
