Welcome onboard this flight experience of Uzbekistan Airways Boeing 767-300/ER aircraft from Tel Aviv to Tashkent.
It was a noon flight from Tel Aviv, with an actual flight time of 4 hours and 25 minutes. The flight took a northerly routing over Turkey and the Caucasus to Uzbekistan, instead of over Iranian and Iraqi airspace.
It was a nice initial impression with a fresh-looking cabin with gentle blue hues and personal tv screens on every seat. However, Uzbekistan Airways provides few amenities onboard - there were few blankets, and not all seats had safety cards. Limited pillows were available, on request. Meal serving was substantial and generous. Lavatories ran out of toilet paper midflight.
