In this tutorial we show how simple it is to send HL7 over HTTP with SSL/TLS.
There is an introduction to the concepts of Transport Layer Security, then we show you how you can create your own SSL certificate, or how to install it if you get one from a certificate authority.
We then take you through the steps of creating a simple HL7 integration and then test it out.
Note, HL7 Soup only uses TLS 1.2 and doesn't use the now deprecated SSL protocal.
