Join me on a journey along the West Kennet Avenue at Avebury Henge and Stone Circle, one of the largest and most mysterious prehistoric monuments in the world. In this video (Part 2), I record all the surviving stones of the Avenue and invite you to look closely at their shapes and forms.
Many of the megaliths at Avebury seem to reveal hidden faces, animals, and creatures — from cows and dogs to hares and sheep. I’ll point out some of the most striking examples, but the real fun is in spotting your own. What do you see in the stones?
With ambient music and guided captions, this walkthrough offers both a calm exploration and a fresh perspective on one of Britain’s most enigmatic Neolithic sites.
