Описание: Welcome back to the first case study of 2023! Weve detailed, ceramic coated and ppf'd the model Y more than ANY other vehicle in 2022, but this was our first colour change on a Y ( we've color change wrapped every other tesla model). A really tricky car to wrap and one i certainly underestimated, the white base color always makes things more difficult , the front bumper is VERY difficult to get down and not for the faint hearted , even more so when using a film that looses its color so easily and tears. The rear deck lid was done in two pieces as this film simply couldn't cope with the stretch needed to get round the 4d shape-without going really shiny in that main stretch piece, so i decided to two piece it just under the deck lid swage line to keep the colour and hopefully have a longer lasting piece for the customer and most of all keep the matte silver colour. In a normal gloss colour or matte without the metallic elements this would have been much easier. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable case study and i hope to do many more color changes on these in 2023!
