Protest groups take action across London to highlight fuel poverty

Описание: Activists unfurled a banner off Westminster Bridge to protest against the UK government over the fuel poverty crisis.

The protests were part of the Warm This Winter campaign which was being staged in over 40 locations across the UK.

Groups supporting those in poverty, the elderly and environmental issues congregated together in Parliament Square to make their voices heard.

As energy companies’ profits continue to soar, much of the UK’s population are unable to afford to heat their homes this winter.
