Still using vizzio for creating network maps?
Introducing automatic network maps in UVexplorer,
which creates a map of your network automatically.
The map reflects the changes on your network in real
time through periodical Layer two network Discovery.
Let's see how this works in UVexplorer.
Open UVexplorer and Select New Discovery and provide
a name for the discovery, select A.R.P. cache or Ping
Sweep for type of discovery and provide the seed IP
address and then click next.
UVexplorer will then ask for the
credentials to implement.
Select the pre-determined credentials, such as SNMP
and the relevant Windows discovery settings, click
Next and then Finish
The network discovery will begin and you will receive
a network map in minutes.
For recurring network discoveries, select Schedule
Discoveries, then select a name and your
pre-configured discovery settings.
You can select how many discoveries you want to keep,
how long you want to remember dynamic devices and how
aggressive you'd like this discovery to merge with
previous discoveries.
Then select your schedule, every minute, hour, day,
however often you' d like to run the discovery.
Select the Status tab and click Run Now to start your
scheduled discoveries.
So don't manually create your network maps any more.
UVexplorer will automate this work for you.
