Hi, I'm Shane with etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Toyota 4Runner you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to walk you through the installation, on the Sportsman Grill Guard by Weston. It may also be known as a Bull Bar, or a Brush Guard. It's going to be designed to protect the front of your vehicle. It's going to attach to your vehicle at four points. You're two upper points are going to be your radiator support bracket.

Your two lower are going to be your frame rail. You can see it's going to give it a nice solid hold to our vehicle.As you can see we're going to have plenty of coverage on the front of our vehicle. We're going to have coverage over our headlights, which nowadays a lot of these headlights are very expensive to replace. Our bumper fascia and our grill is going to have great coverage. Maybe we're out camping, we have to take an off-road to get there, we can have peace of mind knowing that the front of our vehicle's not going to be damaged trying to get there.It's going to be constructed of a black powder coated steel.

So it's going to be very durable. The black powder coat is going to help resist any rust or corrosion. You'll notice right here each one of these front bars is going to have a rubber coating on it, or a rubber seal on it. What this does is it gives it a little extra protection if we do happen to hit something. We're not going to have to worry about damaging the bar itself.

This rubber coating is going to help protect it very well.You'll notice this center bar here. We're going to have a few rubber caps. This is going to allow us to mount maybe some KC lights, or off-road lights. You can see we're going to have four holes so we're going to be able to accommodate several different types of lights. A lot of times now there are people that are putting LED light strips on their vehicles.

So those light strips will mount directly up to these holes. You can put single round KC lights. There's LED lights that are square. So there's a lot of different options that will work with this bar. You can find any of those different types of lights here at etrailer.com.As far as the installation goes, pretty simple and straight forward installation. It's not going to require any drilling. It's going to come with all the necessary hardware.To begin our installation we're going to a 14 millimeter socket, right underneath the vehicle the frame rail there's going to be three bolts that we need to remove. So what you're looking for is your frame rail, your tie down hook. There's three bolts right up above it. We need to remove these three bolts on each side. We're going to have two brackets in the kit that look like this. One's going to have a P on it for passenger side, the other one's going to have a D for driver's side. We're going to put this in place, reinstall the bolts we just removed.Next thing we're going to do is underneath our hood we need to remove this plastic panel that is covering our radiator. You're going to have some fasteners that look like this. Easy way to get them out is if you just push right in the center just like that. Then you're going to have two push pin fasteners. We're going to remove the outside one. Again, pry up the center and then we'll pull out the base. We're not going to be reinstalling these.You're going to have a bracket that looks like this for each side. Again, passenger and driver. We're going to take the flat side and we're going to make sure that this is facing up, not down. We're going to slide it through the grill like this. You're going to have a spacer, go down like that. You're going to have a small hex bolt, you're going to put a flat washer on it. We're going to drop it down through like that. Then on the bottom we're going to put another washer and then a nylon lock nut. Again, we're only loosely installing these parts for now until we get our guard in place. Just like that. Then we'll do the same thing on the other side.Next, we'll get our grill in place. Or, our guard. We're going to have some smaller Allen bolts like the is. You're going to put a flat washer on, it's going to look like this. We're going to go from the outside through our bracket. Then we'll put a flange nut on the inside, just like that. We get one of those in on each side.Then for our lower brackets we're going to have some larger Allen bolts, little bit larger washers. Same type. Again, going to go from the outside, a
