Activate legacy MP3 plug-in
The MP3 encoder was (simplified) in SF v16 to 17. If one prefers to encode an MP3 in other than the limited dumb-down parameters, the legacy MP3 encoder can be re-enabled by choosing "Activate legacy MP3 plug-in" in the (hidden) 'Internal' menu,
Hold down the 'Shift' key whilst selecting "Options, then Preferences" to reveal the 'Internal' tab. Type 'MP3' in the search field to fast find the entry. Select the entry and change the Value field from "FALSE" to "TRUE".
