Creality Ender 3 3D Printer Unboxing, Assembly and First Use

Описание: I am a total newbie when it comes to 3D printers. Sure, I've watched a lot of videos about them, and I've been looking for recommendations for a good one to buy (or at least one that's not so bad as to be unusable) for quite a while. I was prepared to pay up to £500, so I was pleasantly surprised when I watched a review of the Ender 3 by Angus Deveson on Maker's Muse. At under £200, it seemed like a bargain. In fact, I got it for £140 with a discount code, so absolutely zero complaints on the price front. I had to wait about 6 weeks for it to make its way from GearBest in China.

Now, one of the ways they can hit that price point is to supply the printer as a kit. It's not a total kit, though, several of the components are pre-assembled, so a competent mechanically-minded person could probably put it together in about an hour. I'm not mechanically-minded and I did it in four hours (I could probably have done it faster, but I was also shooting the video so that slows things down a bit. Anyway, I managed to get it done with only a few wrong turnings, and it works perfectly.

I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I've swapped out the fake BuildTak bed for borosilicate glass (and hairspray). I've also upgraded the PTFE Bowden tube and its couplings, and gone through 3-4 nozzles.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with this bargain beast!
