Log dose response is plotted and the test dose responses are recorded. From the test dose responses one test dose is selected such that it is bracketed between two standard doses. The standard doses are selected such that one is thirty percent and the other is seventy percent of the maximal response of the standard dose response curve. This video explains in a simple manner the bracketing bioassay with its advantages and limitations.
