Oil 3 spoons, ghee 1 spoon, mustard seeds (saasuve) ½ spoon, cumin seeds (jeerige) ¼ spoon, curry leaves few, green chillies 4–5, turmeric (arishina) a pinch, hing ¼ spoon, grated ginger (shunti) 1 inch, 1 tomato, 1 big cucumber (southekaayi), salt as required, water to boil.

1 bowl boiled tur dal, ½ cup coconut, little coriander leaves.
