Ellen Weber, executive director of Robin Hood Ventures and Temple University’s Fox School of Business’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute, on the importance of women investing in women - and why we all need to have our own binders full of women.
Ellen is the Executive Director of the Fox School of Business’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute, which proactively promotes the entrepreneurial spirit throughout all 17 schools and colleges of Temple University. She is also the Executive Director of Robin Hood Ventures, a leading angel group helping to fuel startup growth in the Philadelphia region.
Ellen was the COO and co-founder of VisionMine, which allows corporate clients collaborative access to early start-up innovations, new technologies, and entrepreneurs that solve business problems. She was an advisory board member of Philly Startup Leaders, championed the Philly Tech Meetup, and is a board member of the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs and the Entrepreneurs Forum of Greater Philadelphia. Ellen earned her Bachelors of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
