WowWee Robotics' Mini Roboraptor

Описание: I scored this from Ross one day for only $9.99, as shown on the price tag in the video. I just got it because, well.. I haven't seen one of these in person yet and I really wanted to see it lol. I remember having a Sharper Image knockoff of this mini, kinda-sorta; although it looked nothing like a Roboraptor, it had a similar motion, all of the posing joints were the same, and the tail had the same premise of moving with the body. What's interesting about the official one though is that the tail and head has absolutely NO levers or hinges pushing them to the side whenever the feet move, surprisingly. It's all done with mere gravity, which I think is pretty sick. I'm still so used to the tail and head having an individual movement when lifted up, so picking this guy up and seeing absolutely nothing move but the legs is still a pretty cool surprise to me. Also, let's not forget to mention, the features... Yeah, the arms move, but WowWee always makes their Mini series stick out by giving them little things like push-buttons for certain movements, like the mouth. There's a little nub under his jaw, and if you push back it opens its mouth, just like how Mini Robosapien's claws open when you push a button on their arms. My Sharper Image knockoff didn't have that feature, though it still had an adjustable mouth.
I'm probably giving this thing way too much praise lmao, I just REALLY like tiny robots like this lol. They're such fun things to tinker with if I'm being completely honest with you.
