Intelligent Infrastructure touches the day-to-day life of each of our fellow citizens, and its deployment is crucial to our country's overall competitiveness and prosperity. Cell towers replaced radio towers as the key infrastructure supporting wireless networks. Intelligent Infrastructure is the next level of the densification industry, and the government has been challenged with it for a decade. This next-generation infrastructure will pave the way for the next economic expansion, driven by the incorporation of digital technology into our cities, highways, and communities.
What sets this infrastructure apart is its intricate integration into the fabric of our sidewalks, supporting both public and private organizations. Public Infrastructure Network Nodes (PINNs), smart ducts, and smart vaults will be utilized to eliminate 70% of the deployment costs of upgrades by supporting technology today, tomorrow, and for the next 30+ years. They will end the blight of the strapping, bolting, and hanging random devices within our communities. Hundreds of organizations have been supporting the Autonomy Institute to ensure we build reference deployments that can be used for the national program.
The private sector is prioritizing and accelerating the development, deployment, and operation of Intelligent Infrastructure nationwide.
