In this video I talk about what ND filters I have landed on for my current setup of adapting EF lenses onto the Canon EOS R via the EF to RF control ring adapter. I talk about why I haven't bought into the super expensive EF to RF Variable ND adapter and why I think Canon have missed a step there with many moving over to RF lenses eventually so we'll still be needing a front of lens ND solution anyway.

While the EF to RF variable ND is a revolution, it is useless for those not planning to adapt EF lenses in the medium to long term. With the offering of so many incredible RF lenses coming out and more in 2020, I think it's worth finding a quality ND filter manufacturer to go with for the long term and since recieving these filters from PolarPro I will be sticking with them from here on out, they're incredible.

Note to PolarPro , if you're listening; EOS R users who are going to get RF lenses will be in need of a 95mm filter thread size and step up rings to suit. If you would be so kind to make some 95mm thread filters, that would be incredible!
