Rich, buttery, and giant chocolate chip cookies, loaded with crunchy Walnuts & Chocolate chips !
Ingredients:
• 21/2 cups (300g) all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 teaspoons cornstarch
• 3/4 cup (150g) dark brown sugar
• 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
• 2 cold eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 cup (226g) unsalted cold butter
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 11/2 cups (255g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 11/4 cups (180g) roasted walnuts, chopped
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking sheet.
2. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer, beat butter for about a minute.
3. Add sugars, eggs and vanilla extract. Beat for about 2-3 minutes until the batter turns pale in color and the sugar is well incorporated.
5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
6. Stir in 170g chocolate chips and 150g walnuts.
7. Scoop 2 tablespoon-sized dough onto the prepared baking sheet, roll into balls, leaving about 4 inches of space between each cookie. Top it with rest of the chocolate chips and walnuts.
8. Freeze the dough balls for 10 minutes before baking.
9. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
