In 1997 Mercedes-Benz founded the premium SUV segment with the launch of the M-Class.
Since October 2015, the class has been named GLE, emphasizing its positioning as the SUV version of the E-Class sedan. More than two million customers have opted for the SUV since the launch of the M-Class, and the GLE is the best-selling SUV in Mercedes' history.

This is the video of the GLE SUV diesel with 245 hp in the 'AMG Line' package that emphasizes the sporty features of the design. This is the current fourth generation GLE that was introduced to the world at the Paris Motor Show in October 2018.
