From what I can gather this clip is theatre patrons arriving for the evening, being interviewed by the Herald Newsreel and being told that the footage they are appearing in was to be rushed through processing and then projected at interval later that same night. Probably a technically impressive novelty at the time.
Although this is an unknown year. Gladys Moncrieff being interviewed at 0:29 looks of a similar age to another clip from 1930 so guessing early/mid 1930s.
