Time Lapse process of restoring an old craftsman hammer.
Sanded the handle first with a low grit paper. Then metal brushed the hammer head and blued the metal with Birchwood Casey Perma Blue Paste, and oiled it.
Sanded the handle with finer grit paper and used Boiled Linseed Oil (I’ll re-oil the handle a few more times in the next few days but that’s not shown)
