This video is just a demo of what happens when the hero has the Loto Seal, but no Rain Staff and comes to the Southern Shrine in Dragon Quest I on the Game Boy Color. The old man will no longer throw the hero out, but he cannot make the Rainbow Drop without the Rain Staff. Coming to the shrine without the Sun Stone produces a similar result.
