Chainsaw Carving an Elk in a Winter Storm | Buried in Snow, Still Carving

Описание: Today I’m chainsaw carving an elk out of a flat piece of pine wood — and I’m doing it during a winter storm in deep snow! ❄️🪚
This will be a hanging wall piece carved using my Stihl chainsaws along with several electric power tools for shaping and detail work.

I start by laying out the elk design on the pine board, then rough it out with the chainsaw before refining the shape, fur texture, and antlers. Working in heavy snow and cold temperatures adds an extra challenge, but that’s part of the fun of winter chainsaw carving.
