🌿 Surah Yasin (سورة يس)
Quran – Surah Yasin (Yā-Sīn) is the 36th chapter of the Qur’an.
It contains 83 verses (ayahs) and is generally classified as a Meccan Surah, though some scholars say verse 12 may have been revealed in Madinah.
The name Yā-Sīn comes from the two mysterious letters at the beginning of the surah. According to Tafsir al-Jalalayn, regarding these letters:
"Allah knows best what He means by them."
It is also reported that Yā-Sīn is among the blessed names of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
