In the shocking Indore MBA student murder case, the victim’s father appeared before the media and shared emotional and disturbing details about the sequence of events.

According to him, on February 10, he had dropped his daughter near the Municipal Corporation office regarding some document-related work. Later that evening, the family lost direct contact with her. The accused allegedly began operating her phone, sending messages from it — including a message at around 8:30 PM stating, “Tell Papa I won’t be coming home.”

The father said the accused was answering calls from the victim’s phone and even disconnecting them. When the victim did not return home by 11 PM, the family grew anxious and attempted repeated contact, but her phone was switched off.

On February 11, after being informed by the college principal that the matter seemed serious, the father filed a missing person complaint. Due to jurisdiction confusion between police stations, the FIR was formally registered later that night around 9:30 PM.

The family repeatedly checked the accused’s rented room from outside during those two days, but it was locked. On February 13, during police inquiry, a constable informed the father to reach the room as police were about to open it. The body was recovered from inside.

The father alleged that the accused continued to operate the victim’s social media accounts, uploading videos around February 12 in an apparent attempt to defame her. He stated that the accused showed no remorse and appeared emotionally unaffected.

The victim’s father has demanded the strictest punishment, including the death penalty, stating that such crimes should send a strong message to society to prevent future incidents. He emphasized that he wants justice not only for his daughter but also to protect other daughters in the country.

Police continue their investigation, and further details await forensic and post-mortem confirmation.
