Описание: We’re in Melbourne eating up a storm over a number of weeks. Today we’re in Chinatown in Melbourne CBD sharing with you some great spots to eat. The longest continuously operating Chinatown in the world (it’s been around since 1850)- what we love about it, is that it’s not a tourist trap. There are some genuinely awesome restaurants and ones we return to time and time again.

Melbourne is a food lover’s dream- from cheap and cheerful eats to fine dining- this city has it all. The diverse population of its people means its food culture is rich and multi-cultural. We used to call this city home so we know it pretty well. We can’t wait to share some of our favourite spots with you plus experience new eats with you along for the ride.

What we ate and where we ate it:

1. Shark Fin Inn, 50 Little Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000. Open 11am-3pm daily for yum cha. Total meal cost $106.97 (including card surcharge)

2. Muli Express, 163 Little Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000. Open Monday-Tuesday 12pm-9pm and Wednesday to Sunday 12pm-4pm. Our 6 oysters cost $32.80

3. Yulongfu Steamed Buns Restaurant, 136 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000. Open Monday 4:30pm-10pm and Tuesday to Thursday 11:30am-10pm and Friday to Sunday 11:30am-10:30pm. 2 x baskets of xiao long bao $38.16

4. Royal Custard Puff, Midcity Centre, Shop 12B, 200 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000. Open 7 days 12pm-9pm. 12 x pieces $7.50, Green Tea soft serve with 3 puffs $5.50.

N.B basically everywhere charges a 1.5% card surcharge
