What is Hydro-Pure Technology?

Hydra-Pure Technology is a patented water detoxifying and depurating technology for applications in aquatic hobby. It consists of two electro-plates to energise a cartridge box containing special “Cata-Pure” media to release strong reactive Hydroxyl (OHˉ) ions, which is the key to detoxifying and depurating reactions process.

What is the working principle and benefits of Hydro-Pure Technology?

Hydro-Pure Technology creates and maintains safe and stable pristine "Hydro-Pure Water" similar to that of natural river stream rich in micro-nutrients and minerals.

It constantly detoxify toxic Ammonia (NHɜ) into non-toxic Ammonium (NH4⁺), thus greatly preventing fish kill due to toxic Ammonia (NHɜ).

It also helps to oxidise toxic Nitrites (NO₂⁻) to less toxic Nitrates (NOɜ⁻), keeping water quality at safe and stable level. In the continuous chain reactions within the water, the Total Ammonia Nitrogen (NOɜ and NH₄⁺) will eventually become free nitrogen (N₂) and water (H₂O), thus depurating the water.

It can also prevent cloudy water by ionisation of solid precipitations present in the waters, and helps to remove bad odours by the oxidation of sulphur-based products that causes these smells.

Suitable Applications:
Hydro-Pure Technology is suitable for both Marine and Freshwater aquariums of all sizes, all types of fishes, plants and live corals and all levels of stocking density. It also helps in the prevention of “New Tank Syndrome”, especially in Marine tanks application.
