In this video, we explain how you can safely check if the cooking surface is still warm after use. The Novy Undercover hob uses several indicators to show residual heat:
‘H’ symbol on the Novy Controller display – When a cooking zone is still warm after being switched off, an ‘H’ appears on the corresponding zone.
Temperature display – When the hob is fully switched off, the controller displays the highest measured temperature.
Red indicator next to the cooking zone – If the pan is removed, a red light appears next to the on/off button on the worktop.
Optional: Novy floor spotlight heat indicator – This intelligent feature projects a red circle onto the floor when the cooking zone is still warm.
